Hi there. I'm Lesley and I'm sure you've figured out I'm the daughter in this scenario. That's right, I never imagined working in the wedding industry, much less owning and operating a wedding and celebration venue. But God had a different plan in mind... 

In 2014, my mom, Dianne, had a vision and a plan - open one of the first barn wedding venues in Mississippi. She worked tirelessly making sure every detail was thought of (from the "Something Borrowed" collection to the Insta-worthy photo ops) and every "what if" was considered. My sister was living out of the country at the time, and when she moved home she and Mom hit the ground running and developed Brookside Barn into the award-winning venue it is today! 

My education is in psychology and I was a Clinical Director for a Mental Health organization based out of Rhode Island when COVID hit. I was fortunate enough to work remotely and return to Mississippi for most of 2020. During that time, God's plan was slowly but surely coming to fruition. 

After the fall of 2020, Mom was ready to retire and I knew I had found my destiny. 

Our entire family fell in love with each and every piece of sharing so many couples beautiful stories and being a small part of their big day.
